Drs. Véronique Schyns
Véronique Schyns has 13+ years experience in investor relations, global financial and strategic communications, at the head offices of complex businesses and publicly-listed entities in the international food and drinks and financial services industries. She provides investor relations and communications advice, relations, execution of plans and training services to boardrooms. Amongst others during seven years at Heineken N.V. and 2,5 years at Robeco Group, she built and managed professional international press offices and successful pro-active integrated communications change programmes.
She has a strong record as an advisor to boardrooms on corporate and leadership positioning, issue communication, as a spokesperson to investors, analysts and influential global media and in communicating the financial agenda, equity story, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, IPOs, investment and divestments, reorganisations and corporate strategies.
Véronique has broad international experience with amongst others investors, analysts, journalists, editors, PR agencies, annual report production, web design, photographers, media training, messaging, media monitoring and analysis.
After graduation from the University of Utrecht, she worked in several commercial roles. Since 2000, she has been an internal and external communications advisor and spokesperson at ABN AMRO N.V., Rabobank International and Heineken N.V. At Heineken N.V., she was the lead global spokesperson, Head of Global Media Relations and Financial & Corporate Communications Manager. She further broadened her management and communication skills as SVP Corporate Communications Robeco Group, Investor Relations Manager at Binckbank N.V. and Financial Communications Director at Hill&Knowlton Strategies. She currently is Head of Investor Relations at ASA International Group plc, one of the world’s largest international microfinance institutions.
Between 1977 and 1991 Véronique enjoyed a semi professional tennis education, played many national and international tennis tournaments and received a scholarship to play tennis in the U.S.A. Her tennis education forms the roots for the drive and passion she has for making every project a success today.
Véronique has a degree in Spanish Literature & Language, which is comparable with a Master’s degree. Her language skills: Dutch (mother tongue), English (near native), Spanish (C1-C2) Italian (moderate), German (moderate) and French (moderate).
